Wild Weald Camping

Connecting you with nature

20240811_074807_edited.jpg

Situated at the end of a woodland track, our camping field is ideal for those seeking a tranquil spot to unwind with family and friends.

In keeping with our desire for low environmental impact, the site is open for a limited season, and there are only 27 pitches surrounded by trees, giving a sense of peace. Campers have access to a large recreational field as well as 83 acres of ancient woodland.

"The incredibly friendly owners - they had a chat with all the campers as they did the log run each night, it really made the stay. Huge expanse of woodland for the children to explore and play in. Kids are able to play and explore and be kids. You are off the beaten track and felt very safe. Tents not too close together, plenty of room for children to play ball games etc.

We didn't have to wait for a shower, the facilities are well matched to the number of pitches/campers. We saw owls and deer during our stay here, and heard all sorts of other wildlife."

"It wasn't too busy which is paramount for me. Owners were really lovely, they came round every day to check in and you can buy logs. I felt very safe here which was extremely important as I was camping alone with my son. The showers and toilets were clean with hot water. Would absolutely come again. There is absolutely nothing I can say I disliked, we had a perfect stay.
