About the event
This will be a version of our public event on 19th July, but run as a free event for unpaid carers and their children with special educational needs.
The day will revolve around creating the mozzarella from scratch, making bread from scratch, and making up our tomato sauce, but the format and timings will be decided by those attending as the day progresses. We have a number of activities (including drawing on silver birch trees with charcoal, deer tracking (grandma's footsteps), mud pugging (ancient Sussex game), charcoal making and basic wild pottery, etc.), that we will use to ensure the day engages all, with plenty of time for spontaneous play.
Until we do our public event on 19th July we will have no photos of us hosting in the woods. However Pam and I have run cheesemaking events for Taste of the Vine since 2014. We also had a cheesemaking…
